Cycling over the bridge was fine…it was the cycling b4 and after the bridge that just burned my leg muscles!! 16 miles…the most excerise ive probably done in 5 years!

Im just about to edit all the pics ive taken from San Francisco and ill probs have them uploaded by the end of the night!

Booked the last 3 journeys we have to take….we still have a week with nowhere to stay…but we might just stay in Toronto for an extra week, as we are only staying there 4 nights just now which isnt a lot. Decided to book a plane journey from Toronto to New York as they train takes over 12 hours and we arrive in New York at night 70 blocks away from the hostel…so i made simon give me his card to pay for the flight…ive paid him back its ok! LOL

Nothing much else has happened…hopefully i wont be in pain 2morra! lol

Hey, we havent done anything 2day. I booked tickets last night for Alcatraz but there was an error so i phoned them (YES I PHONED THEM!) and it took 10 pounds off my mobile – Simon woodnt let me use his as it would waste his money – even though his is an american phone number. So after wasting all my money Simon finally gave me his phone – after A LOT of moaning. And after about 30 minutes to an hour of trying i finally got through, and they said i hadnt booked any tickets (that must have been what the error was talking about!!) So i booked 2 tickets for 2morra.

So 2morra we will head out about 11am and head slowly up the road. Take a detour to go to Lombard Street (the crookedest street) and then head up to Fishermans Wharf to Pier 41 to get our tickets. Take some pictures of Pier 39 (famous cos of its been overtaken by seals, they love to sunbathe there – dont know why cos its freezing here!) Head on the tour to Alcatraz and then head back to the hostel.

Saturday i think we will walk around and see China town and some of the shopping centres.

Sunday we will hire bikes and cycle across the Golden Gate Bridge.

All should be fun if Simon stops annoying me so much…but i dont see that happening soon.

Hey. Arrived here at about 6pm (2am UK time), and it took a while to find the place. Went to the nearest hostel, as Simon was moaning as it was an up hill climb and he was moaning that i didnt know how far it was to the hostel – not like ive been here b4 or anything so how the hell should i know where im going or how far it is?? Yer so i get the blame cos he is carrying my bag…how can i carry a massive bag when my back kills me from carrying my own bag + the 2 day bags???? Yer so as u cann tell i was a tad pissed off and stood in the middle of the street shouting at Simon with lots of people staring at me…not that i could give a shit though.

So i booked 2 tickets for Alcatraz, but an error came up so i have to phone them 2morra and see if it actually went through. I told Simon i have to use his fone as my fone doesnt seem to work when i fone people. So 2morra ill use his fone for a few minutes lol.

Dont know what im doing 2morra though apart from that. We stay here till the 30th so 6 nights here. Then we head to Yosemite National Park for 4 nights, then come back to San Francisco for 1 night.

Anyway id better go. Might see if i can get some shopping done or something …then again i might need to send stuff home cos i have no space in my bag!…and Simon will read this and moan at me….any bets anyone?

Damtasic! Well its a brick wall that holds water behind it lol! Sofie and Christian coodnt go as the tour was booked for Sunday but they told us the wrong time so we missed it. So they put us on the tour for monday which Sofie and Christian coodnt make.

So me and Simon headed out on the tour. had to leave at 6.20am! The weather was crap…cold, windy and rainy! I tell ye the bad weather follows me around! lol

We leave for San Francisco 2morra so ill update once i get some time. Bye 4 now

Howdy!

Arrived in Las Vegas! Its 105 degrees (about 40 i think). Its HOT! Van hardly walk for 5 mins without sweating buckets! (not that u wanted to know that!). We left Flagstaff along with Sofie and Christian, and they are staying in the same hostel. We have booked up a Hoover Dam tour on Sunday, for the 4 of us. So it should be cool to go out with them. They are from Denmark (i think) If i find the flag ill know its the right country! LOL. !!

2morra we are heading up to the Strip to see all the Casinos etc. Mayb get some more gifts…then again i have one HUGE bag (which is new) full of gifts…and my 65l backpack is full of gifts too…and thats me not even got everyone gifts…i still have Sam, Hezz and Em to get stuff for…and I CANT FIND ANYTHING lol. I know what im looking for but finding the stuff its HARD! !!

So its 11.15pm just now and its about 35 degrees (95) SO HOT! So night for now

We visited this big hole in the ground today, the tour guide thoutght it would be fun if we all went down it. So we did exactly that the views were breathtaking and hard to ignore as they were everywhere. The whole place was like a tourist trap, people everywhere trying to snap the perfect picture. (Get in my way again and and i will snap…. you in half) The descent into the hole was tricky, just a rocky path down the side of a massive cliff, we braved all odds and made it to where we were told to turn around. The climb up was a little more difficult, as the air grew thinner as we climbed. I couldnt tell if i was out of breathe because all i could hear was sammie gasping for air in front of me. Finally at the top we travelled to some other scenic spots then made our way back to our luxurious accomodation

We arrived yesterday at 6am in Flagstaff, 30 miles away from the Grand Canyon. The hostel is VERY noisy as its near the railway line, and the trains here beep their horns constantly lol. We have a nice lil room with a double bed – yep i have to share with simon . We hqave no bathroom but we do have a sink! LOL

So yesterday we looked around and went to the shop for food…along route 66. Simon got his hair cut…looks much better now! lol. 2day we r heading out to a park for a walk…its near some lovely mountains – think they r called San Francisco Mountains or something. Then we will head back to the shop (its like a 2 mile up route 66 lol) as i need some stuff. Hopefully that will waste a few hours or something. lol

2morra we r heading out to the Grand Caynon with the hostel on a tour. Hoefully all should go well! Then thursday we might head to Sedona. Thats only if more people sign up at the hostel as it needs at least 5 people and it only has me and simon on it just now!

Welcome one and all to Tijuana Mexico, drinks buy one get one free, Happy hour every hour enjoy the party. As you may guess we went to Tijuana Mexico it was surreal, exciting and a little scary at the same time. It was an experience i dont think we will forget lol Margeritas and tequila shots at 11am in the morning, where else but Mexico. If you ever get a chance to go there you wont regret it lol (hick)

Im in LA just now…hollywood. From the hostel you can see the hollywood sign! 2day we havent done anything…the cleaners came in the room at 10ish and started hoovering…i woke up a 6am cos we r next to a building site and they started working! Everyone was still asleep apart from me! lol.

2morra, Friday and Saturday we have put our names down for tours…so only Thursday to find something to do.

Hostel is ok…the bathroom is dodgy…no curtain on window and its opposite houses and a car park…so anyone can see in…its horrible! lol

Anyway better go talk to u all soon

Hey, well we r in Miami now. Great weather…still too hot for me. The sea is pure blue! hehe. The hostel is ok…the tv is cr@p…mostly spanish channels! or rubbish channels with rubbish programmes on.

Gonna check out the shops b4 i go as ive seen some nice clothes! lol. Ill be coming home with 20 bags!

Id better go…i should get Simon to post a msg seens as he hasnt! hehehe
