Howdy

We arrived yesterday at 6am in Flagstaff, 30 miles away from the Grand Canyon. The hostel is VERY noisy as its near the railway line, and the trains here beep their horns constantly lol. We have a nice lil room with a double bed – yep i have to share with simon . We hqave no bathroom but we do have a sink! LOL

So yesterday we looked around and went to the shop for food…along route 66. Simon got his hair cut…looks much better now! lol. 2day we r heading out to a park for a walk…its near some lovely mountains – think they r called San Francisco Mountains or something. Then we will head back to the shop (its like a 2 mile up route 66 lol) as i need some stuff. Hopefully that will waste a few hours or something. lol

2morra we r heading out to the Grand Caynon with the hostel on a tour. Hoefully all should go well! Then thursday we might head to Sedona. Thats only if more people sign up at the hostel as it needs at least 5 people and it only has me and simon on it just now!

Welcome one and all to Tijuana Mexico, drinks buy one get one free, Happy hour every hour enjoy the party. As you may guess we went to Tijuana Mexico it was surreal, exciting and a little scary at the same time. It was an experience i dont think we will forget lol Margeritas and tequila shots at 11am in the morning, where else but Mexico. If you ever get a chance to go there you wont regret it lol (hick)

Im in LA just now…hollywood. From the hostel you can see the hollywood sign! 2day we havent done anything…the cleaners came in the room at 10ish and started hoovering…i woke up a 6am cos we r next to a building site and they started working! Everyone was still asleep apart from me! lol.

2morra, Friday and Saturday we have put our names down for tours…so only Thursday to find something to do.

Hostel is ok…the bathroom is dodgy…no curtain on window and its opposite houses and a car park…so anyone can see in…its horrible! lol

Hey, well we r in Miami now. Great weather…still too hot for me. The sea is pure blue! hehe. The hostel is ok…the tv is cr@p…mostly spanish channels! or rubbish channels with rubbish programmes on.

Gonna check out the shops b4 i go as ive seen some nice clothes! lol. Ill be coming home with 20 bags!

Id better go…i should get Simon to post a msg seens as he hasnt! hehehe

Hiya, We leave for Miami on Wednesday. I finally got the hostel booked up after emailing them constantly.  Went to the Magic Kingdom and got a snow globe (thought it was tiny but infact its MASSIVE!)…so i had to go out and buy another suitcase. So now i have a 65l rucksack, a day bag (which i have to carry when im wearing my day bag and now i have another holdal thing. Which is big aswell….and simon wont help carry them even though he has some of his stuff in it! lol.

So now i have more to carry….getting on public transport will be fun! hahaha Oh well id better go

Oh yer my brace broke so i cut it with my scissors!  The dentist will kill me when i come back! hehehe

Well its been over 2 weeks and im still here! haha Havent given up yet! Ive got the cold…god knows how when its like 90 degrees! But i suppose it will pass…hopefully!

Trying to book up the next hostel but they wont get back to me! Ill try emailing them again…probs annoying them but hey i need it sorted! Ive been booking up hostels till the end of may…so far ive got 1 done…i still have 4 waiting on replys! Waiting on Miami, LA, Las Vegas, and Grand Canyon….ive booked up San Francisco. Just emailed Miami again, and so hopefully they will get back to me…they told me to book online via the website but when i try it tells me to fone them…so i emailed them asking if i cood just book by email. No ay am i phoning them…and simon isnt going to do it. Need to phone Air Alaska too but ive told Simon that he is doing it cos ive organised everything else.

Yesterday we went to gatorland (pics will be uploaded later on)…it was a good place to go but i was so ill that we had to go back to the hostel!

Hey, Im in Florida just now – Kissimmee. The 23 hours on the train was very bad….felt like dying lol. Simon didnt get up once and never went to the loo….i coodnt believe it! haha. I went like 4 times!!!

Arrrived yesterday, and 2day we headed into the Magic Kingdom, then went to Epcot…but it started raining, and most of the rides closed down, so we headed back. Simon is having dinner and im just writing this.

2morra i dont know wot we will do, we need to get a bus pass cos its $1.50 for every bus we get but the week bus pass is $12….so $3 a day times by 7 is $21…so its cheaper to get the bus pass….we need to find the place that sells them. Might do that 2morra morning.

Anyway ill update in the next few days…simon got a wireless connection so we dont need to pay for the internet while we r here. (in florida)

We r leaving washington dc 2morra, for a 20 hours train journey…the joy…NOT! lol. Ive uploaded pics to the gallery and so the gallery is up to date. Yesterday it just rained and rained so we didnt get out much but 2day is a nice day so we went for a long walk! lol.

Dont know if we will have many pics for Florida cos we took lots when we went last year. So that might not get updated. Not much else has been happening. Got some gd pics of the White House (which took us a while to find cos there was another building that lots of tourists were going to…which we followed! lol)

Anyway the next update wont be till Thursday or the weekend or something. Ciao!

Leaving New York 2morra to head down the coast to Washington DC…thats if we can find the bus that takes us down to WDC! lol. So since we arrived we have seen most of the major attractions, walked for miles, been in pain from walking…but its been kinda boring too! lol. Yesterday it rained…felt like we never left home! lol So hopefully we can make it to the next stop and then ill have an update again for u all! Anyway im gonna try and upload some pics to the gallery….if it works! lol

Hey, we have finally arrived in New York. Monday the flight was cancelled so we wee stuck in Dublin over night in the middle of nowhere. They are flight last night was delayed by 2 hours. So we got to the hostel at 3am in the morning.

Now we r just wondering around. Went round central park…well a bit of it. So thats good. Well there isnt any pics just yet cos we havent went out to any touristy places yet. Anyway id better go!
